Return of the HARAblog!

The HARAblog is back!! We apologize for the long gap in posts, but the word is out about laptop radiation, and as the industry experts, we have been very busy!!

We continually try to keep up to date about EMF in the news, and the number of articles being published about this topic continues to grow. We are constantly on the hunt for more professional opinions and more importantly, factual data to support the claims of the dangers of EMF.

As this article (http://www.mercola.com/article/emf/emf_dangers.htm) written by Dr. Joseph Mercola suggests, long term exposure to these fields are very hazardous to human health. An excerpt is below:
The Swedish safety standard, effective 711/90, specifies a maximum of 0.25 mG at
50 cm from the display. Many US manufactured computers have EMFs of 5 - 100 mG at this distance. And know this too: the screens placed over monitors do NOT
block EMFs. Not even a lead screen will block ELF and VLF magnetic fields.

Another excerpt from the same article:

Dr. David Carpenter, Dean at the School of Public Health, State University of
New York believes it is likely that up to 30% of all childhood cancers come from
exposure to EMFs. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) warns "There is
reason for concern" and advises prudent avoidance".

In our studies at HARApad, we have measured radiation as high as 175 mG from just running a virus scan. This brand of computer is among the most widely used laptops in the United States. When a laptop is placed on the lap, EMF will enter the body directly and pass through various organs, most notably the reproductive organs in both males and females, the legs, stomach, and intestines, to name a few.

  1. I don't question anything you say about EMF radiation. But I do question whether or no the Harapad is truly effective in blocking it. Can you supply some data or direct me to any information that supports your claims? Thanks.
